SUNDAYS AT CORNERSTONE
WHAT CAN I EXPECT WHEN I COME?
No matter who you are, where you’re from or what you’re walking through in life right now, you are welcome here at Cornerstone. Feel free to dress casual and just be yourself! Our typical Sunday begins with free coffee in the lobby before entering the auditorium for our service. The service includes worship through music, a brief announcement about upcoming events and ways to connect, and a sermon by one of Cornerstone’s pastors. At the close of each service our trained prayer team is available to pray for people. We also have a fantastic ministry for kids (infant - 5th grade) during both services.
WHAT IS THE MUSIC LIKE?
Our typical Sunday services include 20-30 minutes of music made up of modern worship songs, hymns and original music written by individuals from our Cornerstone Worship Community. This time is meant to create space for people to encounter, experience and respond to God. Our style varies each week depending on the uniqueness of the worship leader and band, but most often includes elements of rock, pop and folk music.
WHAT IS THE TEACHING LIKE?
We believe that the Bible is one seamless story revealing the character and will of God and His relationship with humanity, so it is central to every message we teach. Our teaching emphasizes the relevance and importance of the Holy Scriptures for shaping a life of wholeness. We have a gifted team of teachers, so you will find a variety of voices teaching throughout the year. However, you will hear most frequently from Cornerstone’s lead pastor, Brian Carlucci. Our hope is that the teaching time makes the Bible come alive, helps you hear the voice of God more clearly and brings about personal healing, growth and transformation.
