Sometimes life's struggles are too big to tackle on our own. Our AA support group is here to come alongside you in your journey to sobriety.

This is a Beginners' Meeting that will define alcoholism and introduce participants to the 12 Step Program focusing primarily on the first three steps.

Mondays at 6:30PM | Cornerstone Boulder

WHO SHOULD ATTEND?

This is an OPEN meeting of Alcoholics Anonymous, meaning that anyone can participate. This includes people who are attending with or on behalf of loved ones, people uncertain if they have a problem, and of course all those who have a desire to stop drinking.

WHAT IS EXPECTED OF ME IF I ATTEND?

At the beginning of the meeting, people are asked to introduce themselves with their first name. While many within the program will introduce themselves as alcoholic, it's perfectly fine to just say your name. All other participation is voluntary and up to the attendee.

IF I COME TO A MEETING WILL PEOPLE ASSUME I'M AN ALCOHOLIC?

No. Alcoholics Anonymous is an opt-in program, whereby the participant makes a determination about their own drinking and then decides whether or not to ask for help. Meetings are a way to listen to other people describe how they realized they had a problem and the subsequent steps they took to recover from it.

IS THE MEETING TRULY ANONYMOUS?

Yes. No one attending the meeting will discuss anyone else's participation in that meeting.
