Between Two Trees ~ Pastor Tim Coressel

June 3, 2018

Tim continues on the "Rooted" theme looking at the most famous tree ever: the tree of life. This tree appears at both the very beginning and the very end of Scripture and becomes a powerful symbol for the way the world should be. Living in between the appearances of this tree, we have an important role: to live with focus, to be hopeful, and to have faith as we wait.

Oaks of Righteousness ~ Pastor Brian Carlucci

July 1, 2018

Brian concludes our Rooted series by looking at an important theme: the Oaks of Righteousness. These trees were also known as the "strong ones" and are a symbol to us of what strength looks like and what we should aim to be. Yet, as Brian illustrates in his sermon, our path to becoming those "strong ones" is not one of working hard and becoming powerful, but of coming to God in our weakness. In fact, it is only when we embrace our need and acknowledge our weakness that we find that true strength in God.
