When you see Jesus say the words, "I AM", you know something good is happening. It's a linguistic callout to His union with the Father, but it's also a signpost telling us to pay attention: we're about to figure out what God looks like. Our Advent series focuses on several times Jesus did this and what His presence with us means.

Our "I AM" series during the advent season centers around the incredible reality of God with us. Looking at one of the times where Jesus says, "I AM", Gene reveals the power of this statement and how, in it, Jesus reveals himself to be the Presence, the Power, and the Propitiation of God.

Looking at another one of the "I AM" sayings of Jesus in the Gospel of John, Gene takes us into an experience of Jesus as the Bread of Life. It's a powerful statement from Jesus when we think of just how important bread is for our lives. As Gene unpacks this idea of bread throughout the scriptures we get a picture of a God who knows that we are hungry, leads us to provision, and wants us to spend our time working for bread that doesn't spoil... trusting Him that He will provide.

The "I AM... Here" series continues with the words of Jesus found in John 10 describing Himself as the Good Shepherd. In this message Brian outlines how looking to Jesus as our shepherd is about more than just believing in Him, but allowing Him to heal us, protect us, and direct us through life. When we allow Him to do this, we realize that regardless of whether we are in a green pasture or we are walking through a valley of darkness, He remains our good and faithful shepherd.

During our Christmas Eve services Rabbi Gene concluded the "I AM series" with a look at how Jesus is the light of the world. In this message Gene looks at the dynamics of light and dark, the way that God brings light out of darkness, and the hope that we have in Jesus as the light of the world.
