Martha has two adult married children, Bryan & Natalie. She was married to Paul, the love of her life, for 28 years when he died in 2008. They moved to Louisville in 1987, where Martha still lives.

Martha graduated with a degree in Elementary Education and taught two years in Memphis, her hometown, before joining the staff of CRU (Campus Crusade for Christ). She served with CRU in Oregon, California, Oklahoma & Texas before she and Paul settled in Colorado in 1987. She joined the staff of Cornerstone Church in 2000, where she has since served as the Pastor of Women's Ministries.

Martha loves to encourage women in their particular stages of life to believe God and walk by faith, grace & love. She does that through meeting one on one with women, facilitating small Bible study groups and training other women in leadership skills.

In her free time she enjoys walking with her dog Freckles, biking, walking with friends, going to the gym for yoga & pilates classes or meeting friends for a meal or coffee. She also enjoys having game nights with friends.Travel is also a fun way she likes to spend with family or friends, whether in Mexico, Florida or California. She's also had the opportunity to visit China, Thailand, India, Spain, Morocco & Israel.
