CORNERSTONE TUTORING
- Cornerstone aims to provide tutoring for children from low-income families, many of whom come from the Hispanic community.
- Personalized, one-on-one tutoring focused on building relationships.
- Evidence suggests that academically at-risk students who receive tutoring early have significantly lower dropout rates later in school.
- Training will be held at Cornerstone twice per year (Fall and January) and has been curated by educators in our Cornerstone community.
- Speaking Spanish is not required to volunteer.
