John and Nancy have been married since 1975 and are the proud parents of three adult children and the grandparents of Cole, Wyatt, Levi, Jude, and Sophia Pearl.

John is Affiliate Faculty at Colorado Christian University and serves Cornerstone as Pastor of Spiritual Formation. Dallas Willard has said, "Spiritual formation refers to the process whereby the inmost being of the individual (the heart, will or spirit) takes on the quality or character of Jesus himself." The purpose of the Christian life is not to go to heaven. That's our destination. Our purpose now is to be conformed to the image of Jesus Christ in all aspects of real life. 

Nothing excites John more than discipling men to follow Jesus and to live into becoming the men that God created them to be. He loves all things outdoors especially climbing mountains and chasing every big game animal Colorado has a season for. John's favorite hunting companions are his grandkids! Being together with them in the outdoors always gives them ample opportunity to talk about things that matter.
