Yom Kippur Service
Join us for a special service celebrating the most holy day on the Jewish calendar: Yom Kippur. Best translated as “the Day of Atonement” this day was the one time in the year that the High Priest would dare to enter the Holy of Holies. On this day he would make a sacrifice that covered the sins of all people. We celebrate this day as a time to be aware of the brokenness in our lives, a chance to return (to God, to those we’ve hurt or mistreated, to God’s path for our life) and to experience and stand in awe of the grace that meets us and covers over our weakness.
