CHANGE the WORLD…from the Inside Out
Have you wondered what it would be like to pray for people one-on-one and to sense God’s Spirit work through you to change their lives? To help others actually experience God during prayer? To transform the world with God, one person at a time? This course teaches you how to pray for others in a one-on-one setting. It includes both learning and practical experiences. Each week builds on the foundation of the week before, so attending each session is valuable.
Suitable for: Parents, small group leaders, young adults / professionals, teachers, ministry leaders.
*This course is required for anyone who wishes to be considered for the Cornerstone Prayer Team.
COURSE DATES: November 17 | November 24 | December 8 | December 15 (These days skip the week of thanksgiving)
Time: Sunday morning 8:30 AM – 10:15 AM with childcare provided starting at 8:30 AM *Parents, you will check your children in as usual and take to the Blue Room. Once Service begins at 9:00AM, a childcare worker will take children to their usual classrooms.
Location: Stanley Hall (downstairs auditorium)
Leaders: John and Bev Carr, have over 17 years of experience teaching how to pray with others one-on-one, in both church and personal settings.
Book: Book used in this course needs to be read before your first class.

MORE ABOUT THE INSTRUCTORS:
John Carr grew up with early roots in the Episcopal and Baptist traditions. From a young age he was very aware of God and at the age of five developed a deep personal connection to Him. After graduating with a BEng, ME Eng from Cornell, John built a career in engineering and construction projects around the world.
Bev Carr grew up with early roots in the Methodist tradition. She earned a BS, MA in Adult Spiritual Development from Asbury Theological Seminary, and also has an MBA. For many years she worked in the Energy and Life Science industries and owned an international business that designed and installed cross-functional business solutions.
Together John and Bev ministered extensively within churches across the US. They have written six books along with matching curriculum to help people grow and deepen their connection with God and their ability through Him, to experience and to bring freedom to others. They have been guest lectures at Alliance Theological Seminary in NYC and have taught Christian Integrated Healing (soul, spirit and body) for 17 years.
