Empowered to Connect Conference

We are a simulcast site for this national conference focused on training families, volunteers, and professionals to better serve children impacted by adoption and foster care.

This year’s conference includes Trust-Based Relational Intervention® (TBRI®) methods developed by Dr. Karyn Purvis and Dr. David Cross from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development, which exists to bring attachment and connection in families.

Dates: Friday, April 5th and Saturday, April 6th

Childcare is NOT PROVIDED

Cost: $10-$15

Professionals such as Case Managers, Social Workers, Counselors etc. may apply for CEUs by completing an additional registration HERE

Foster/adoptive families DO NOT NEED to complete the additional registration for CEUs. Certificates of attendance will be available at your host site each day. You will be responsible for submitting the certificate to your agency, and it is at the agency’s discretion whether or not to count participation toward training credits.
