Dan Lance moved to Colorado in 2013, alongside his wife Alyssa and their three children: Zeke, Sofia, and Moses. A graduate of Simpson College in Redding, CA, Dan earned his BA in General Ministry in 1999 and has dedicated his life to serving in various church roles.  He worked alongside his father in a church in Riverside, CA for 8 years.  Then he moved to Redding, CA to co-pastor at The Stirring, a church plant with a fellow Simpson graduate.

Dan has held almost every position in church ministry, including:  Preaching & Teaching, Worship, Youth & Men's Ministry, Outreach & Operations, and Small Groups.  Currently he oversees staff, building, budget, and HR at Cornerstone along with leading the men's ministry and worship once a month.  He teaches a few times a year and serves on the church council and executive team. Initially he joined Cornerstone as the project manager for the Dream Boulder initiative, overseeing the construction of the new auditorium and youth space.

In 2015, Dan and Alyssa opened The Roost in Longmont, followed by Jefes the next year, two restaurants in the heart of Longmont.  Dan and Alyssa are passionate about adoption, having adopted their two oldest children. They founded the Rooster Party, a non-profit organization supporting families in the adoption process.  When he's not at the church Dan enjoys writing, playing live music with his band, and golfing with friends and his son.  He also values quality time with family and friends and cherishes the Cornerstone community.
