What is Alpha?
Alpha is a series of group conversations that explore life, spirituality, and faith through a Christian lens. We create a non-judgemental and open environment where it is easy for anyone who is atheist, skeptic, or just curious about faith to explore the big questions of life.
How does it work?
Each week you connect with your group over dinner, and then watch a 25 minute film. The short films explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions such as ‘Is there more to life?’ and ‘Why did Jesus die?’. There will be time each week to have honest conversations about the film, faith, life and what’s going on in the world today.
Who’s invited?
This is an open group for anyone who is new to the faith, interested in Christianity, or has questions about life, Jesus and what really matters. This is a great group to invite friends, family, neighbors or co-workers to join you.
When and where will it be?
Monday nights at 6:30pm, Cornerstone church.
How much does it cost?
It’s free, and a meal will be provided.
